Thursday

Thursday will be spent settling in and getting to know each other. We'll go for an easy run to kick off the weekend then head back to the house for a little mingling, a beautiful dinner and a restful night. We have a BIG weekend ahead of us and need all that precious sleep!

Friday

We'll start the Blue Ridge Relay Friday morning!! We'll be on the road in support vans or running for the next 24ish hours. Be prepared for delicious picnic meals, road snacks, carpool karaoke, storytelling, and plenty of laughter! We'll be rolling out legs, taping up sore muscles, and cheering on our crew!

Saturday

We'll roll into Saturday, finishing out our big relay! Once we're down, we'll fill our bellies with a huge recovery lunch and will head back to the retreat house for yoga and an evening of celebrations!

We'll start Sunday nice and easy with a full breakfast and morning meditation seminar.  After some solo reflection time we'll have a nutritious lunch and follow that up with some beautiful outdoor yoga for runners lead by certified yoga instructor. It'll then be time to say our goodbyes as we take up all of the goodness from the weekend and head out! 

All meals will be provided for the weekend! We will be using all local produce and whole foods to provide the most wholesome nutrition possible. For those interested in plant based eating, we will be doing a unique focus on those options throughout the weekend. All meals will be prepared in a demonstration setting by Lauren, our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, for you to learn the preparation and cooking techniques if interested. 

Our fall 2022 RYHO retreat will be one of the best yet to come! We'll be planning this retreat about the Blue Ridge Relay. This is a 208 mile relay along the Blue Ridge Parkway, from Grayson Highlands to Asheville, NC.  We'll have a team of 12 female runners who will have three segments a piece, totaling around 16 miles per person. As you run along the parkway, the rest of the team will be cheering you along from the support vans! This will be an unbelieve experience, making lasting memories and friendships as you push yourself along the miles. 

Our retreat house is located at the north end of the line. It's a beautiful mountain cabin with a cozy fireplace, mountain styled bedrooms, and additional space for outdoor camping for those adventure lovers and those on a budget! We'll be feeding you all the delicious and nutrition meals and snacks, at the house and along the road during the relay. You'll just need to pack your running gear and go get'em attitude!
