FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. How much running experience do I need to participate in the retreat?
A. For the PNW retreat, none really! We're inviting all runners, of all experience levels. This is an all inclusive experience, meant for you to have some fun on the trail or road and learn a little in the process. Whether you're working up to 2 miles or are comfortable with a 10 miler, you are absolutely welcome! For the Blue Ridge retreat, we ask that you're comfortable running 5 miles at a time, totaling 15 miles in one day. Please note, there will be hills!
Q. How many miles are we going to run per day?
A. Again, this is completely up to you with the PNW retreat. We'll provide options with each run, anywhere from 1 mile to 10 miles. We'll have different pace groups so you won't ever be running by yourself (unless you want to). For the Blue Ridge retreat, you'll need to be okay with 15 miles in our 24 hours.
Q. I have dietary restrictions. Can you accommodate?
A. Yes, absolutely! Nutrition is a big focus of our's for the weekend so we will pay special attention to everyone's dietary needs.
Q. What about weekend transportation?
A. We will provide transportation for all excursions throughout the weekend. If you are flying in, we will be happy to pick you up from the nearest airport.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
A. If YOU cancel your trip, a refund will be given until April 1st for the PNW retreat and August 1st for the Blue Ridge retreat. After said dates, no refunds will be given. This is due to the short turnaround to get the space filled by another guest. If you cancel before the above date, 100% of your payment will be refunded. If you cancel 30 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment. Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. If WE are forced to cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, we will do so 30 days prior to the retreat and all fees will be refunded.
Q. What gear should I bring?
A. You'll want to bring a variety of comfortable running clothing. Due to the time of year, we could have varying temperatures. Be prepared for cooler morning and warmer afternoons. You'll also want to bring your own running shoes and any gear you typical wear when running.
